This privacy policy describes how the regulusai.si website handles users' personal data. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and applicable Slovenian law. This is a translation; the Slovenian version prevails.

2. What data we process
The contact form does not send data to the website's server: when you click “Send enquiry”, your e-mail program opens with a prepared message. We receive the data only when you send the message yourself. We process the data you enter:
- name, e-mail address and company (required),
- phone number (optional),
- the selected area, reason and preferred timeline,
- the content of the message.
The same applies if you write to us directly at hello@regulusai.si.
For the security and operation of the server, the hosting provider automatically records technical data about access (IP address, time, requested address and browser data). The legal basis is the legitimate interest of ensuring security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry, arranging an initial consultation and preparing a proposal – steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Communication with prospective and existing clients – the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use the data for unsolicited marketing and do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Retention period
Enquiries that do not lead to a contractual relationship are kept for no more than 12 months from the last communication and then deleted. If we enter into a contract, they become part of the contractual documentation and are kept until the statutory retention periods expire.
5. Processors and data transfers
We process enquiry data ourselves. For this we use infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf (processors):
- Webicom – the hosting provider that hosts our website and the hello@regulusai.si mailbox,
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany – infrastructure on which our RegulusAi platform runs.
We do not sell data or pass it on to third parties unless required by law or explicitly requested by you.
6. Cookies, analytics and external resources
The website does not use cookies, analytics or other tracking technologies, and does not load fonts or scripts from external servers.
7. Your rights
Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:
- access your data,
- rectification of inaccurate data,
- erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
- restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- data portability.
You can exercise your rights at hello@regulusai.si. If you believe the processing infringes the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
8. Security
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and does not use a database. Data from the form stays in your browser until you send the message from your own e-mail program; the e-mail transfer is protected by the e-mail hosting provider (e.g. TLS).
9. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this policy, for example when legislation or the operation of the website changes. The new version is published on this page with the date of the last change.
